[growl] “No! Let go of the shoe!”

“Yes, mum?”

[crash] “Get down from that shelf!”

“I thought we discussed this love.”

[bang][crash] “The Ming vase!”

“Umm hmm...”

[ping][ping] “Out of the grand piano!” [bang]

“We decided that we were adopting a dog.”

[bang] “Not the fine china!” [crash][crash]

“But, I did get a dog.”

[scritch] “Leave the furniture alone!” [scritch]

“Saguru, love, that is not a dog.”

[growl] “No! Get away!”

“But, it has four feet, has fur, and I bought it from the pound!?”

[crash][crash][crash]

“Baby, I think we need to visit the optometrist because from where I’m standing, I see six legs.”

Saguru squinted and started to count legs again. Nope, it was still all a blur. It didn’t matter though. He liked his new dog. It was small, had big teeth, and it could talk. It didn’t matter if it had six or four legs. He was now part of the family and that was all that was important.

“Come here boy! Come Stitch! Come meet my mum!”
